Privacy policy
Your data in JobSat
JobSat is made by Rotisserie Technologies LLC (“we”). This policy covers the JobSat apps for iPhone and Android, the web app, and this website. In short: we collect what the app needs to work, we use it only to run JobSat, and we never sell it or use it for advertising.
Last updated October 11, 2026.
What we collect
Your account
- Your email address, which you sign in with. We email it a one-time code each time you sign in; there are no passwords.
- Your name, which you give us the first time you sign in. If you sign in with Google, we receive the name and email address on your Google account and nothing else from it.
The work you put in
Workspaces, jobs, sites, the drawings you upload (pictures and PDFs), units, checklists, templates, and who completed each checklist item and when. When you add someone to a job by email, we keep their address so they can be given access when they first sign in.
When you talk to a job
If you use voice, your phone turns what you say into text, on the device where the phone supports it, otherwise with your phone's own speech service from Apple or Google. JobSat receives the text, never the recording. The text is used to work out what you meant and to answer you, and it is not kept afterwards.
To keep JobSat running and safe
- A sign-in session, so you stay signed in: a cookie in the browser, a token on the phone.
- The network address a request came from, to limit repeated sign-in attempts, and server logs of requests, kept for troubleshooting.
JobSat has no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no tracking across other apps or websites. This website has no analytics and sets no cookies of its own.
How we use it
Only to provide JobSat: to sign you in, to show you and the people you work with the jobs you share, to keep every phone and browser in step, to answer you when you talk to a job, and to answer you when you write to us.
Who can see it
- The people you work with. People in your workspace see your name and email address. People on a job see its drawings, units and checklists, and who completed what.
- The services we run on. Amazon Web Services stores JobSat's data and sends its sign-in emails, in the United States. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google handles that sign-in. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for anything else.
- No one else, unless the law requires it. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and your work while your account exists. When you delete your account, we remove your personal information within 30 days, and it leaves our backups within a further 7 days. Work you did in a workspace belongs to that workspace and stays there for its other members, without your name or email address.
Your choices
To get a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted, email support@jobsat.tech from the address you sign in with. We answer within 30 days. Wherever you live, you have these choices, and using them never costs you anything.
Keeping it safe
Everything travels over encrypted connections. Your data is stored encrypted, and only the people on a job, and the owners of its workspace, can reach it.
Children
JobSat is a tool for work and is not meant for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information; if you think a child has signed up, tell us and we will delete the account.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update it here and change the date at the top. If a change matters to how your data is used, we will tell you in the app or by email first.
